GameStop Exchange Rates.

Well I thought that us gamers might like to see the Gamestop exchange rates... This message may not be perfect because I'm writing it on the DSi.

I was recently at GameStop... It's not quite the place it used to be, and they gave me a relatively hard time on exchanges. I was exchanging my old DS Lite for $70.00 GameStop credit, and they charged me ten dollars to replace a missing stylus. On ebay, you can get two-packs for five dollars on a good day... Also, their rates on GBA games that have gone a bit out-of-date are surprisingly low. Five dollars for a game they'll sell for thirty-five dollars. They gave me similar rates on DS games, as the list will show-

-DS Lite - $70.00
For them to take it, you need a Nintendo-licensed stylus and charger.

-Old GBA Advance games - Approx. $5.00 - $8.00
They just need to have the stickers and of course they need to work.

-DS Games- Approx. $8.00 - $12.00
They require the same conditions as GBA games.

Gameboy SP- $25.00
Trade requirements are that it has it's Nintendo charger, and it still works.

-Old Gameboy Advances - $10.00
That's the price that I've heard from friends, and the console just needs to be in working condition.

I'm sure that GameStop has other product exchanges such as Wii or old GameCubes. Is the rumor true that you used to be able to get a GameCube for $5.00?

I wrote that with a virtual keyboard, a slow DSi browser, and at eleven o'clock at night, so I'll be re-reading this... ;-)

Doubt it. I have a DS Lite with a broken hinge, and because it was detached for too long, power didn't circulate, and now it doesn't even turn on, even after charging... -.-
