Online experiences [Wi-fi] (Any console)

Post by TomS on Fri Feb 27 2009, 03:08

Ever had any strange experiences while connected to your Wi-Fi through a gaming console? I've had mine. How about you?

I hate those cruddy laggy games. Like brawl, and pokemon stuff. The lag is just too bad to make the game enjoyable

I know what you mean. I was being Toon Link once. He's
suppossed to be fast. It took him about an hour to do a
downward thrust. Also, when I play Mario Kart DS, opponents suddenly pop up about half a lap ahead when
their behind me. I'm in first, an in a matter of seconds, I'm in
fourth. Freaking Scary.

When I was playing Call of Duty: World at War one time, my guy started moving from pllace to place. Eventually, I was in an entirely diferrent BUILDING!

Yeah. I always get a weak connection because florescent lights can actually cut your Wi-Fi connection, believe it or not.
I generally get about a 24-42% connection. Sometimes you can get such interference that it's totally not worth it.

That seems pretty bad... I lost Mario Kart, so I don't experience lag as much. I don't normally use Nintendo Wi-Fi anymore. I play non-wi-fi games like RFF.
